Alumni Volunteer Corporation
The California Rho AVC of Sigma Phi Epsilon at UCSD was organized in 2007 to provide continuity and financial stability to the undergraduate chapter. Chapter membership turns over every four years, but it is intended that the alumni and volunteer corporation remain constant, with members having a long-term perspective and commitment to the proper management of the chapter. The California Rho AVC of Sigma Phi Epsilon at UCSD, with the aid of the undergraduate California Rho chapter, is also responsible of hosting the annual Alumni Golf Tournament which is used to raise money for the Balanced Man Scholarship. SigEp awards a scholarship to applicants who best exemplify the SigEp ideal of Sound Mind, Sound Body. The Balanced Man Scholarship awards those who exemplify academic excellence, demonstrate leadership skills, and commit to health and well-being. The Cal Rho AVC recently won a few awards for their efforts:
